35 Years!
We are thrilled to announce that Destination Kingsway Honda recently celebrated their 35th anniversary. This is a particularly notable milestone as it happens to coincide with the completion of our showroom’s renovation.
We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the milestone along with several other accomplishments, which include the multi-year wins of the Honda Driving Excellence program, Council of Sales Leadership and Presidents Challenges. On behalf of the entire team, we would like to thank the ongoing trust and support given to us by Honda Canada, our partners and our valued guests. Let this be our joint celebration.
A little bit of our history
Kingsway Honda Vancouver has operated as a family-owned business in the Mount Pleasant community for over three decades. Acquired by the Kingsway Auto Family as part of a multi-dealership deal from the Bill Docksteader Group in 1988, the dealership continued to grow. The success is largely driven by Canada’s best-selling car for 24 years in a row, the Honda Civic; and the introduction of the Honda Odyssey, Honda CRV and Honda Pilot; while also offering a variety of quality pre-owned vehicles, parts, service, tires and vehicle accessories.
In 2008, Kingsway Honda Vancouver relocated to its current home, doubling its service capacity to 16 bays in a brand-new 47,000 square-foot facility that became the first multi-use dealership construction and fully indoor sales and service customer experience in Canada.
In 2022, with the completion of the renovation works, the dealership was honoured to receive Honda’s Green Dealer Award. Moving forward, the dealership will continue to focus on what is right for our valued Guests while maintaining environmental consciousness and a best-in-class attitude and process.
